My wife and I just got back from Abbotsford, BC where we spent a rainy but warm Christmas with family and friends. It's always ideal to be able to spend the holidays near family but I was thoroughly exausted by the end of the stay and welcomed to plane ride back home to Fort McMurray. However, soon after arriving back I came to realize that The Mac possesses certain special features that I could go without, namely, static electricity. Now obviously static electricity is everywhere but it's presence is that much more magnified up here. I was only home for an hour before I wanted to curl up in a little ball and hide in the corner of my condo, sitting on a plastic garbage bag. Seriously though, I swear that people here will only make the mistake once of forgetting to put a fabric softener in the dryer, because if you don't you'll get zapped so bad it will seem like your watching a scene from "The Green Mile." But when you come to think of it, if a little bit of a jolt is the worst thing I could think of to complain about, it can't be all that bad. |
