Wood Buffalo RCMP laid numerous charges Tuesday in relation to a road rage incident that took place Monday in the area of the Snye River. RCMP responded shortly after 4:30 pm, and located and apprehended five subjects in a stolen pick-up truck. The preliminary investigation revealed that prior to police attendance at the scene, the subjects driving the stolen truck had repeatedly rammed another vehicle and a serious physical altercation had also taken place. RCMP have determined that this was not a random attack. The investigation is still on-going, and more charges may be pending.

He says the country's co-operation in ending the Taliban insurgency in neighbouring Afghanistan is -- in his words -- ``required, and in fact, it's demanded.'' His comments follow the leak of NATO documents that suggest Pakistan may be helping guide attacks on coalition troops in Afghanistan. MacKay says the notion is not new, but he suggests patience is wearing thin.
It's one of the worst incidents of soccer violence in years. At least 73 people are dead and one-thousand others injured in Egypt after fans rushed onto the field after the home team in Port Said (sy-EED') beat Egypt's top team. That set off clashes and a stampede that appeared to leave police officers overwhelmed. The violence spread to Cairo where people set fire to a stadium to protest the fact a game there was postponed in the wake of the Port Said incident.
