Family Literacy Day is an annual recognition held throughout Canada and the Fort McMurray Public Library is celebrating it along with everyone else across Canada on January 27th. From 4pm-8:30pm, stop by the library for free games and activities. Explore activity centres, games and go on a scavenger hunt. Deputy Mayor Mike Allen will read a Family Literacy Day Proclamation and story. There will be a Puppet Show and Pizza Party followed by Family Movie Night. The movie screened will be the animated film Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, based on the classic book by Judi and Ron Barrett.
